Very pleasant

It’s been a long time since I enjoyed Earl Grey tea this much. Most Earl Grey teas are made with black tea, and I have come to really dislike the taste of black tea in any form. For years I’ve stuck to Jasmine tea since I found green tea versions of that. Then a few weeks ago I found a half-used packet of tea in a holiday cottage. It was a green Earl Grey and it made an interesting change from my usual Jasmine.

Now that I’ve tracked down a source of this green Earl Grey I have started to drink it regularly. The bergamot flavour comes out very well in this tea .

Delicious, fresh flavour

Really nice flavour. It's so hard to find green Earl Grey and this is a good one.

What will you choose to go in yours?

  • Brewing Green Tea

Use about 1 level teaspoon per cup (adjust according to taste).

Add water that is around 75-80°C.

Allow to brew for 1-3 mins and be careful not to over brew.

We recommend that for most green teas water temperature should be around 75°C to 80°C. In practical terms this means allowing the kettle to cool down for about 4-5 minutes after it has switched itself off from boiling... YES! AS LONG AS THIS!!

  • Flavouring teas adds a new dimension to the base tea. Classic flavourings for green tea include jasmine or rose petals but there are countless flavour options available.

Try our green tea version of Earl Grey that flavours green tea with oil of bergamot or our Japanese cherry green tea that has a fruity tang to get your taste buds going.

Why not try one of our pure Green or White Teas
